Last Day

Today was our last day and we decided we were going to take it easy.  We slept in, and did some laundry.

After the laundry was done we went for a walk to explore the upper half of Central Park.  We actually walked around the reservoir and didn’t get much else in before it got dark.  While there were still other people in the park and it was still early it got dark awful fast.

Around the reservoir (the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis reservoir) is a running path.  The running path is nice because no bikes, dogs or strollers are allowed on it.  It’s one way so when you get on everyone is going the same way.

night shot of walking/running path. A little grainy but you get the idea.

We thought this was a neat looking bridge. Again a little grainy. We were trying to take pictures as it was getting dark.

Since it was dark and I’m tired from walking all week we decided to call it a day and we went back to the apartment.  We still need to pack and get ready to leave for the airport at 5am for a 7am flight.

We have had a lot of fun but I will be glad to be home and sleeping in my own bed.
