Then the boat went past the Statue of Liberty.\u00a0 It’s amazing to me to watch people.\u00a0 None of them care that they get in the way of anothers picture as long as they are able to get their own picture.\u00a0 Everyone ran to one side of the boat to take their pictures.\u00a0 I should have taken of picture of the boat listing to one side but didn’t.\u00a0 Here are some of the pictures I took of the Statue.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n Our tour also took us under the Brooklyn Bridge then back to the dock.\u00a0 There were quite a few people on this boat.\u00a0 It was funny to see that as soon as we were on our way back to the dock everyone that was up on the top of the boat went down below to get warm.\u00a0 I’m noticing around here it is hurry up to get where you are going, see what you came to see and then move on real fast.\u00a0 No one takes the time to slow down and enjoy the sights they are seeing.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Brooklyn Bridge<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n When we walked onto the Brooklyn Bridge yesterday we walked up the section you see that is covered in white up to that first pylon. It’s not a hard walk at all just long.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n some of the people on the boat tour with us.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n After the harbor tour we rode the subway back uptown to the Macy’s store because I wanted to see if I could get some better pictures of the Macy’s windows.\u00a0 Dwayne wanted some subway pictures so here they are.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n people standing on the platform waiting for a train.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n older ticket booth<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n subway tunnel – kind of dark and hard to see.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n One of Dwayne’s favorite stores online is B&H photo.\u00a0 They have a store just a couple of blocks from Macy’s so we walked up there so he could look around. We walked past a parking lot and noticed something interesting.\u00a0 The parking lot is using a car lift so they can get more cars in one small lot.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n parking lot with lift<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n right in front of the Macy’s store is Heralds Square. This is where Broadway and 6th Ave meet at 34th St. It is a pedestrian mall. Look at all the people.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n Heralds Square<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n Looking back up Broadway 34th St. See another UPS truck? You almost can’t take a picture without seeing a UPS truck somewhere.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n Our original plan was to turn around and get back on the subway at 34 and ride it up to 59th Street but oh no I wanted a picture of the Christmas tree after dark since I didn’t get to go and see the tree lighting.\u00a0 So……..we walked up Broadway from 34th St to 51st St.\u00a0\u00a0 Below Rockefeller Center is a food court.\u00a0 We went down there and got something to eat and wait for it to get dark.\u00a0 We got outside and took my picture of the tree.\u00a0 =)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Rockefeller Christmas tree 2012. I got my picture.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n Then we headed off to Bloomingdale’s on Lexington Ave to look at their store windows.\u00a0 I thought again we might take the subway to get there but oh now we walked it.\u00a0 We actually ended up walked all the way back to our apt on 78th.\u00a0 So basically we walked from 34th to 78th.\u00a0 With a Starbucks about halfway through.\u00a0\u00a0 Here are the pictures from Bloomingdale’s windows.\u00a0 They were pretty good windows.
